A lot of good songs and performances by Randy that have been wasted efforts from both Pasing Through and Around The Bend albums thanks to radio not even given anything a shot! Thats what really angers me with radio. Yet they want you to be a loyal listener so they can keep their jobs, while they ignore your repeated requests to play the one artist you want to hear the most.

I agree James about Around the Bend and The Passing Through getting more spotlight - Faith in You is one of my all time fav Randy songs - I Told You So did go #1 on some country charts but not Billboard but a hit is a hit - that song is timeless

I just bought the two CD collection, I Told You So: The Ultimate Hits of Randy Travis. I am disappointed that song numbers 14 and 22 are not on it. However, it is an outstanding collection from one of the greats in country music, R.T.!

I agree, rtfan1986. The Passing Through and Around The Bend CDs deserved their time in the spotlight and should have given Randy Travis major hits between 2004-2008. Faith In You and Dig Two Graves ARE gems. With all indications I have seen, R.T. and Carrie Underwood should have the #1 song in America the week after next with I Told You So. That would make Travis the second artist after Dolly Parton to take the same song to #1 in different versions. By the way, I have mentioned Travis in my Country ChartBeat (click on my username in this post and head to the Blogs section-Entry for 03182009).

It's amazing to see all those songs listed there - the ones I usually hear at radio are Forever and Ever , On the Other Hand and Three Crosses and I agree with RTfan Randy needs more airplay with such great songs

I am thinking that there are songs from both Passing Through and Around the Bend that should be on that list but the idiots who work in radio are holding him back.
