OMG! you just don't know what your in for, it will be very hot so be prepared for that. Pack lots of cool shirts and take a poncho (just in case a disposable one that can be folded up small) They charge a lot for them and you may need one. Comfortable shoes. That's another must.

But I am here to tell you it will be fantastic. Everything the exhibit hall the fan club parties that's a plus, if you can. It's best if you want and if you don't you'll wish you had atleast went to one. You join ahead of time and then you get invited to them if you are going, some charge extra, some don't but it is still worth it. Also you may want to save a little extra money incase you get a chance to upgade your tickets.

What can I say it is a all week party. Hope you are able to do a lot of walking.

This board may not be very active at all now that the festival is over until closer to next years festival date. Do check out the website lisa52077 posted as it is loaded with valuable information. I would highly recommend doing a few fan club parties and the GAC Kickoff Breakfast. Since you are at the Fiddlers Inn you are near the Grand Ole Opry be sure to check out who is there Tuesday night. Check out the Opryland Hotel. Be sure to eat at Caney Fork Fish Camp near your hotel too!
