    George sure got that right about us loving the “traditional Country” & Merle & George thankfully have stuck to their roots on that score, I wonder if any of the so-called new “COUNTRY” artistes out there today will still have so many fans or even still be on the “Country music scene” in ten or even 5 years to come never mind the length of time Merle & George have been around in the music business & still have their fans right out there with them, I wonder if some of the younger generation even know of Hank Williams & I mean Hank Senior!!!! Some of the artistes today wouldn’t know what Country music is supposed to sound like, having said that thankfully there are some young artistes still flying the flag for the traditionalist too!! If only the radio stations would listen to what the fans want, I’m so glad it isn’t that way over here in Ireland & we still hear Merle & George played & we also can request them too, lighten up DJ’s & waken up again to “Real Country Music”!!!

    We LOVE you Merle & George & we won’t let you forget that!!
