Loved the smokey raspy voices of Josh and Megan and the style they sang the winning song on the show. Just heard the remake on the radio and was very disappointed. It was not as interesting and sounded too clean and boring.

Last year was first year for CYD and it was judge selection last year also, no voting by the public. I like that myself, otherwise, its whoever has the biggest fanbase or more devoted fanbase wins, not necesarily the most talented. I think Scott favored the top 3 and imo, will sign all 3. Its his company's money thats going into the winner so naturally he wants the one he thinks he can get the biggest return on. I think after top 3, he was letting the best edge the others out and SM had been singing together longer then the other duos and thats an advantage. Also, on finale night, I dont think the boys had the best songs to sing. Their version of Neon Moon was fabulous and probably wouldve won the contest had it been the finale song, imo.

Congrats! However I am very disappointed with Scott Borchetta you could tell they were his favorite and I feel he was aiming for them all along. I think that America should have the chance to vote. Don't get me wrong Steel Magnolia was very good and deserved to win. However, Mr. Borchetta should have concealed his emotions towards them.
