Look what i was just told by a very dedicated Carrie fan : I bought Country Weekly mag. today. In an interview Carrie talks about how good Miranda is and she is one of her faves singers.Then this fan says : I hope Miranda wins the Female Vocalist of the Year ! Very nice words from Carrie and her dedicated fan in my opinion !

I dont watch childish shows like SNL.Country has always been about drinking,cheating and lying Ellen. Ask the oldtimers. I like those songs because they are usually upbeat,and funny. After all AJ has had a couple of those 2 you know. Brandy you need to do a little research. Country music was based on stories about life and hard times but it has turned into Bars and drinking cause thats what appeals to most people but not me and I'm shocked that you are a fan of those songs. charlotte I was referring to Brandy when I said I didn't take much of what she said serious. I will take up for anyone that is being condemed for being who she is. Shes a teenager and acts like one. Would you like her better if she wrote songs about bars and getting drunk. Your right she shouldn't win vocalist but You don't have to be a great vocalist to be a good entertainer and she fits that catergory. She sells out all her concerts, does movie and TV shows and whether you like her or not shes very hard working and has many many fans. Your opinion is just that your opinion and every body doesn't agree with you. Theres a difference between a fact and an opinion. When the nomination committee meets I'm sure they don't base their choices on who bought the CD's and concert tickets but how many were sold. Martina is one of my favorites and if shes wins F.V. I will be happy but she isn't what I think would be in the EOTY catergory.

ellenoo7,One question if you are not a fan of Taylor's why do you go to extremes to take up for her and do not give that stuff you feel she is being jumped on so unfairly?All of us are only stating facts when we give our opinions.Yes Taylor is a teenager of 19,but please there are tons of things teenagers go through that Taylor could sing about besides boys,boys boys over and over.Of course Taylor is not going to sing any singer's song well,she can not sing her own songs very well.That is not bashing her,that is stating a fact.As I have said before I would not have a problem giving Taylor some praise if she had the talent to back up all the attention she is getting.Sorry but in my book in order to be up for female vocalist and eoty you should at least be able to sing in tune and sing well when you sing live.Taylor has these nominations because of all the concert and cd sales that the tweens,young teens and pop fans have gotten for her.Take Martina far instance one of the greatest female vocalist country music has and never has been a nominatee for eoty,now tell me how Taylor should have this honor in 4 short years of singing(if you call it singing) and not even a full year of touring that she did not even headline the total time she toured.This is why we all have a problem with Taylor.You claim you take very little seroius from all of us,if that is so why do you react to our comments?I for one actually hope that the academy does the right thing Wednesday night and does not give and I mean give Taylor female vocalist and eoty.The other catagories Taylor are nominated in does not bother me if she wins too much.

Miranda and Leann Womack did AJ proud though on their version of Gone Country and they certainly did do it justice ! I don't believe that anyone should be considered a singer or even win awards for it if they cannot even sing. it's not fair. If you think she a great songwriter, even though she co writes them with professionals, than thats what she should do and stick to that.

I see Brandy deleted her post between my 2 post. I wonder why but its still on my feed. Joseph I thought she did better than usual when she sang Drive but no one could ever sing an AJ song and do it justice. Ellen- one more word about this, I never streamed until recently & someone had to tell me how. I don't like streaming, & probably won't do it again, but like I said before, we HAVE to do it to keep our favorites up towards the top because other people are working OT voting. They are glued to the keyboard day & night, and don't tell me otherwise because I know better! The only FAIR poll or voting is ONE vote per person per day. Until other people follow that there is going to be multiple voting. I guess I'm saying if you can't beat them, join them.

all you have to do to understand why so many people can't stand taylor and that she's over rated is look at her two peformances that she did on cmt giants when she sang alan jackson's song drive she totally killed it and then she tried to sing george strait's song run at the artist of the decade and flopped again she cannot carry a note if her life depended on it.now you take carrie for example when she sang i told you so or miranda and blake's duet of you're the reason god made oklahoma and it's night and day in comparing these two with talor's trying to sing a couple classic country songs.that's why it's a joke that she's in this category at all.she should apply at a slaughter house because one thing she's good at is butchering classic country music.
