According to press reports Gretchen will release a single in September and an album in November on her own label, Redneck Records.

well now that she's split with Sony records, her album may not be out!! I hope she releases it this year under a new label... I mean, the label released 3 singles off the upcoming album and they have delayed the release of the album since October 2008. I can almost guarantee it won't come out August 18th as originally stated!! I think it may be out for Christmas- if she finds the right label.
