Guess what?!! Dwight is heading east in January! I was looking around the Internet and happened to check for Dwight on Ticketmaster and "bam!" there is a show date for him for Caesar's in Atlantic City on Jan 8th!! Tics on sale tomorrow, I think. Unfortunately, I can't go 'cause it's a Fri. night, but I am hoping this means he'll come to D.C. soon!!!

Hi Everyone! Yes, both concerts at Mille Lacs Lake was, to say the least, FABULOUS! I must even agree with Dwight, that his second show was better than Friday nights! The only thing I hate about his casino shows, is that you are expected to SIT DOWN for the whole show!!! Well that of course does NOT happen towards the end of the show! GOOD!!! I had a terrible time sitting still, I just wanted to go CRAZY! I'll tell you one thing.....My chair was a rockin! Yes it was great, we even got out in time to see him escorted to his bus. We were the only ones out there, about 15 feet away. He kept playing even though the lights came on after his encores, It was unbelievable. The casino even offered us a suite because they ran out of Micr & refridgerators! It was awesome! A 249.00 room for 99.00 Jacuzzi,2 plasma tvs,full kitchen,glass shower,leather couch & chairs....unreal! If you go to You Tube and type in Dwight Yoakam Mille Lacs you can view a few of his songs....It's great. I was actually the one you will hear on love4dwights videos.....Sorry! His recordings are great, except for my big mouth! Told you I had a hard time....lol! I'm glad you made it honeystar! What a trip, but at least it was well worth it!

I know what you mean VA4DDY when Dwight walks on stage everything just seems to melt away as you said. And you feel it was well worth what you went through. And yes it sure would be great to attend that Love Ride concert. I wish I'd lived in Calif, to as you had mentioned before. It would be one fun event, especially if you know Dwight is going to be there.

So glad you persevered and finally made it to see Dwight, honeystar. I've had some misadventures trying to travel to see him, too. But when he walks on stage all the travel difficulties seem to melt away and everything is all right in my world again. Sometimes I think of him as my "balm in Gilead" to make a bad Biblical analogy, but you get the idea. And wouldn't it be great to attend that HD Love Ride concert? It's gonna be loud and rowdy! People should be able to take lots of pictures at that one. Can't wait to see!!

I sure was frantic with road construction and detour Carlie1. I had stopped in Onamia at a side street, where I saw a couple sitting outside by a bar and cafe. I asked them where is the casino? and which road or highway? they said and pointed to the highway. Then I asked how far ? the man said 10 miles I thought myself what? that far. It had seemed like a 100 miles with all the driving I had done. When I finally reached the casino found a place to park, I put my hands on the steering wheel and almost broke down in tears, that I finally made it!! I haven't yet told my lady friend that yet.I am sure she told her son and his wife about my trip. They live in central area here. I need to deliver her Avon to her, as I sell it or put it this way just take orders I am not a dealer.There is not to many a singer I do all this driving for to get to a concert. I to would love to attend Dwight's Harley Davidson's Love Ride. Perhaps some pictures would get taken and will show up on Dwight's Site that sure would be nice.

Hi, Honeystar, I just read your comments about the MN concert you attended. I bet you were so frantic with all that road construction and detour.
