Lacey's problem was she would have to be at the pageant to crown the 2010 winner. She said it would be a Sunday in November, when there would most likely be a game. The website said the pageant was Oct. 30-31, so that was a Friday and Saturday. (Who has a pageant on Halloween?). But if tryouts are in April or May (I know they're before June), she would have had several months to go that could be really busy. Kenley didn't win the Miss Louisiana pageant, but the pageant was in June and Kelli had said she wouldn't have any time off in June. That was when Kenley said DCC would be her first priority. I can't believe she give up competing for Miss Lousiana. She was in the pageant that feeds into Miss America. Lacey was in the Miss USA system.

I got the idea that Kelli was just mad about the whole situation, whether they quit or were let go. I just can't figure out why they were let into training camp in the first place. I hope the girl who was admitted late can catch up. I don't think the sisters thought this through, either. Being a Miss Something and a cheerleader are both really time-consuming activities.

With the background checks they do on the candidates, you would think the DCC would have checked into that before bringing them to training camp. Unless they did and then the pageants or the sisters changed their minds. Or maybe Lacey was ticked that she was called into the office and what they said. It was probably more work than they realized.

Both the Minchew sisters should have had legal contracts with their respective pageants. Remember the Miss CAlifornia who was sued for breach of contract? If I was on the pageant committee, I would have thrown a fit about DCC until they were finished with their reign. They knew exactly that they were obligated to fulfil their pageant requirements before committing to DCC.

Bio's don't say anything about being on DCC training squad...wonder why???!! I seem to remember from ?first season that 2 dropped out very early in training camp. One had an injury and they said after she left they would have worked with her. The other said she had childcare problems. Kelli said that each person had a schedule and they signed that they would be able to meet that requirement. I think about those people who didn't get into training camp because these other people took their place.

I think the Minchew sisters left on their own because that's why Kelli seemed so mad about it.

I wanted to start a new thread, but can't figure out how. But it relates to this episode. Did the Minchew sisters quit or did Kelly let them go? I don't understand how they got into training camp in the first place. Anyone have any information? There was no way they could juggle their pageant obligations and be cheerleaders in the same year. The one girl said "this (cheerleading) would be my priority". Her priority ought to be the contract she signed first. There are some really good reasons for not fulfilling your pageant duties, but I don't think being a cheerleader is one. There's always next year. And would they drop cheerleading when the next shiny thing came along?

That's not really a bad thing either.

I wonder if maybe Kelli and Judy could be responding to some criticism about weight so they decided to up the body fat number some?

When Kelli was a DCC she wasn't a thin as the girls are now. On blackdcc.net by the profile on Kelli & Judy and there is a small video clip of Kelli when she was a DCC. She looks kind of large in hips and thigh area to me.

Ok, I forgive you oregon3. I'm pretty sure you posted that without thinking that we know that we can easily look up to see who made it but some of us don't want to.

Kelli is in her 40's, you can't expect her to be as thin as 20 year olds. I thought she looked good at auditions, thinner than last year but looks heavier again at camp. Maybe it's the clothes.

Jay addressed the difference in the body fat tests on the dcc site. Something about the tests calculate differently. You would think body fat is body fat but that's what he said.

Kelli not being thin is like going to a doctor for bariatric surgery...only to have him/her walk in to examine you & he/she is overweight. She is the DIRECTOR of the DCC. She has an image to uphold. Everything she says centers around the girls basically being perfect w/o no flaws. She needs to hold herself to those same ideals.

Has anyone seen the head football coach of the Kansas Jayhawks? he is ginormous and i cant imagine he could walk up one flight of stairs yet alone do wind sprints with his players.

I noticed something!! Last year during the body fat testing the trainer said body fat is supose to be between 11 and 15 percent- this year she said 21 and.... something else like 24 maybe??? Why did it change!?

Kelli did gain weight from last year. That's no secret... but I don't think she should have to stay a certain weight because she's not the one who will be sporting that tenny wenny uniform!

About Kelli's weight this year, is it possible she is pregnant? They are hiding her stomach quite a bit.

I can't blame Kelly for being ticked off at the Minchew sisters for quitting the team. They were extremely selfish, which should be NO surprise to anyone watching. I think the ONLY reason these two selfish jerks went to tryouts was for the TV coverage and to add to their egos making training camp of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. Interesting enough, they BOTH bailed when one made it to the office. I guess they are not as fabulous as they think are.

Kelly's weight gain was eye-catching this season. Her wearing the "cover-up clothes" in every episode so far is so very different from past episodes. Has anyone else noticed this?

The new stadium's JumboTron is completely unforgiving. Whatever figure flaw you have, it's there 100' x 250' or whatever the dimensions are. I saw one or two jiggles that I'm sure Jay is not happy with. The girls are more beautiful every year. Very tan, very thin, white teeth, lots of makeup and lots of cleavage. Some of the gals from past squads, I believe, may have been told to shape up because of this new forum. It's really not flaw friendly.

You're right Jane. Spoiler posts should start with the word spoiler in all caps. I was doing some googling (not as painful as it sounds) and came across a current squad list. Although I know who made the team, it would be cruel to post any of that here. We should all sit back and enjoy the show. And, I too was puzzled by the Minchew selection to TC.

I wish people that post spoilers (i.e oregon3) would give a warning first! I don't want to know who makes it, it spoils it for me and I'm not a "can't stand delayed gratification" kind of person.

Honestly, we can't say that they aren't good dancers. We only saw a piece of what they went through. Solos and during training camp.

I honestly wish we could have seen more of everything that happened in finals and training camp.
