I currently live in Mississippi and I have a sister who moved from Mississippi to Ragley, LA-just above Lake Charles, LA. I wish your show was nationwide, because my sister is in such dire need of help with her mobile home. I don't think it is fair to be concentrated in one state, the south is in more need of help than any other part of the nation.
My sister and her husband were trucking together, when her husband developed lung cancer and she has depleting arthritis. They both were on S.S. disability. Her husband-Bennie just lost his fight on Friday-Oct 16th to lung cancer-he was only 59, she is 58 years old.
They have always helped out other people all their lives, my mother and father lived with them for awhile. They took in family members who had no place to go when Hurricane Katrina hit.
Currently her oldest daughter with three children live with her, because her daughters husband and my sister's youngest son, serve in Iraq. Her son is due to go back to Iraq after they bury her husband.
The trailer they currently live in is three trailers put together. The ceiling tiles are falling down, missing or black mold is on them. Their are no doors on most of the bedrooms, the floor is missing in some areas-you can see the ground. The family has tried to help out when we can, but most of us don't have enough funds to help.
If you can find it in your heart to help another person who has done nothing but help others all her life. She is a very deserving individual in need of help. Im 22 and live in Pennsylvania, I wish you guys would go nation wide because there are so many people who need your help everywhere. i know everyone has there own story. but ill tell you mine.... 6 years ago i found out my mother had inflammatory breast cancer... its a rare non curable cancer. It has been a struggle for us and with all the bills.... i live on my own with my fiance in a trailer. But just 3 weeks ago my mother started doing extremely bad.... i had a call from the Dr. saying my mother wasn't going to make it through the week.... well she did but is still in critical condition. hearing that i took a leave of absence from work... letting bills go and focused on her. Now i am so far behind... our trailer is falling apart the winters are so cold, my fridge just died and i have no money to do anything. so for now i buy food day by day and have to some how get by. so anyways it would be so nice for someone like u guys to help thanks for listening.

i live in mesa Arizona i am 18 years old i also have a brother he is 17 and my dad is 48 and my mom is 40 the mobile home we live in is so bad are bath room floor is falling in my mom fell in the floor so we put a board over it for know and the bath tub me and my dad had to reinforce it so we can take a shower my room is so moldy on the wall and the kitchen is so bad the hole floor is falling in almost my dad feel in the floor in the kitchen to. we don't have the money to really fix anything at all. my dad is always on oxygen and he has a bad foot and a bad neck he really cant do anything hardly i wish you guys can help us i will love for the help.

My family needs MHD help in New York! I wish the show would go nationwide! We love Cap and the gang and our double wide is in need of a lot of repairs....bathrooms, leaking roof, it is very old and can't be safe to live in. We want to do the repairs ourselves but can never find the money and we are worried about mold(the deadly kind). It is very discouraging and the banks are no help! We would love to apply!

MY family likes in Airway Heights, WA. Our trailer has the water pipes running through the house, this last summer we gor infested by mice that just got into the walls and everything. My furnace only heats half the house. I'm from California but, don't want to go back because my son's education is so much better here. I work 1 full time job and 2 p/t jobs hoping to get out of debt and either fix this place up or buy a new one. I wish you all came here cause we could all use some help. The park I live in is falling apart and my neighbor and I need help and the state won't help. The insulation is bad and even my son's bathroom floor is falling. Please you should consider outside of California too. Extreme Makeover does cause everywhere can use help not just Cali.

I really wish you came to Missouri my family lives in the middle of nowhere Frankclay, Mo and they have a small 3 bedroom trailer in which 9 of us live in. It's me I'm 27 my 2 kids ages 8 and 6 my 17 yr old sister and twin 9 yr old sisters my mom and step dad and my step dads nephew. My mom and step dad work so hard and it would be so nice to do something like this for them because they do so much for everyone else. I hope someday you are able to come to Mo cause their place really needs it they are so busy paying bills and doing for everyone else that the house has suffered.

How about a reason to come to Las Vegas. The other "home improvement" show does it your show should be able to do it too. I had a flood in my yard that has destroyed my home. I now have a black mold problem and my home in showing signs of damage inside and out. Help!

I think everybody is right you should go around the country to do the mobile home makeovers I live in Mo and my mobile home needs a make over why just Cali????

Hi! My name is Megan. I live in Murfreesboro just about 20 minutes from Nashville. I want to nominate my family for the trailer makeover. My granmother owns the trailer, and lived in it for almost 30 years. Sadly I must say that it should be burned down. She can't afford to fix it up, she can barely pay the bills with her social security check. She also has housed anyone that has needed a place to stay. She is the strogest woman I know and would never want to ask for help, but if anyone deserves it it's her! She raised me and my brother and is now helping raise my three boys. I don't know how she does it but I thank God each and everyday that she is in my life!!! My own guardian angel. If you ever come to Florida, I have a mobile home disaster for you. Our home burnt down and we purchased a trashed mobile home in hopes of fixing it up. HELP!!!
