Well, speaking of the new album, I must say, I am SO VERY EXCITED!!!! Do you know how long I've been waiting for this new album?! For like ever! Ahh! :D

As for the White House thingy, I missed that, but a very dear friend recorded it and sent it my way! I cannot wait to see it! :D

Akusgal, chicka, I dunno if I can get as addicted to the boards now that they look like this. It's very different, weird actually. Are all the regular users that were addicted years ago, still on here?

Well, thanks but actually had to nag my brother plenty to teach me how with a program he had put on my computer a year earlier! If I wasn't such a computer illiterate I would have known I could do that at that first Opry show and more importantly with the one with the Whites! Still stings I missed out on recording that one! She was brilliant that show!

I'm remembering some magic you made when recording one of the more recent WSM Opry performances of Alison, Tal. I wouldn't consider you to be too terrible with computer technology. ;)

Akusgal. It does stink and unfortunately most AK fans are, it seems, not very computer savvy!( including myself I might add! LOL) I am hoping Brad having a bigger audience, will have one who does have the knowledge AND the belief in sharing! ;D

Since we're on the subject of the new AKUS album: I am Ron's friend on facebook and can't get enough of his "recording with AKUS" status'. It makes it so official. :) Can't wait for the release!

I haven't been on here in a few weeks to see what's been going on, but are we allowed to talk about Alison and the guys performing at the White House that aired on "the other channel" a few days ago? So absolutely fantastic! It had been so long since I had heard "Every Time You Say Goodbye", and I just about cried from missing their music.. (I know, I'm just a mess sometimes).

Alison does have a "new" one called "The Essential Alison Krauss" that is being released in the UK, that is a compilation of hand picked music from her career. It's for her new found audience that came from her work with Robert Plant. Apparently, her older albums are hard to get in Merry Ole England.

But the AKUS album they are working on is all new!!! And according to Barry, a little different from what has been done in the past, but awesome stuff. He also said Alison is in amazing voice right now.

Yes, this board does take a little getting use to, and they keep on making changes that takes them weeks to straighten out, but it does have some nice features, like being able to edit your message after you find spelling errors, picture sharing, and the ability to PM each other.

Take some time to look around, and try some of the features out.

lol! Yerp, 18 years old! Ah! The boards have changed so much! These profile things are SO WEIRD!

Anyway, is it a NEW album, or just something like AHMOM, the whole collection thingy?
