Hoping he's not a one-hit wonder
It is disappointing that the other releases from his former album didn't see the light of day. And the new single is not showing much promise. It's a shame as he is great as a singer and songwriter. I am so sick of the corporate nature of the music business that dictates we have to put up with the pop-influenced music now. It's a shame but other than In Color the other singles from that prior album didn't get radio play.   What's the matter with people and the music industry as a whole? We all have to sit back and let teeny-boppers desires lead the way for what we call music? Man, I think I will put in an old Don Williams CD and tell the modern pop-infected music business and their puppets of performers to kiss off!

    It's a shame corporate radio ignores him. They are not playing his songs except In Color. May they all burn at the stake.

    He had got too much in him to be a one hit wonder! The country music fans have got to start calling in radio stations requesting his music and buying his cds instead of illegally downloading them. We got to leave our mark, so they know what WE want. Its funny how music changes, there was a time when Don Williams wasn't considered country, not until Urban Cowboy came out.

    His fans will support him. Screw radio! Look at his last 2 albums and all the great songs on them. Should have been hit after hit on the radio.

    He has too much talent to be a one hit wonder! He has that old school voice and great writing talent too. I think he'll be a household name for a looong time!

    I think JJ is getting ready to take country music by storm. I'm starting to hear more of him on the radio. As true country fans hear his music they will not be able to get enough of him. JJ will not be the first or last that started slow because he doesn't fit the image they want to back. But you can't deny his music in the end it's the fans that will make him.

    If radio would actually PLAY his songs...'In Color' is one of the best songs ever, but ALL of his other stuff is awesome too! 'My Way to You' would be HUGE if it actually got airtime!!!! Can't wait for his 11/28/09 show with Randy Houser in Hot Springs, AR!!!!

    He is not a one hit wonder! All of his songs on the Lonesome Song cd are great, RADIO IS STUPID!!!! If his sold out concerts aren't an indication of his popularity I don't know what is.
