I don't even own my own home so I'm not sure if this is even going to work. I rent a mobile home that is filled with mold and was wondering if I could sign up for the mobile home make overs? If I can't then just to spend an afternoon with the host dog (Basset hound) would be great! I am seperated from husband, he left me and my 3 kids after he was kicked out of the military 4 1/2 years short of retirement due to his body fat (too fat for the navy), LOL I met a wonderful guy who is also seperated from his wife due to mistreatment of the kids. He has 2 little girls that also live in the trailer. It is a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom small nightmare. Everytime we turn around someone bumps into each other. All three girls ages 14, 5 and 3 are in one room and the boys ages 12, and 10 are in the other room. Everything is falling apart and we asked the landlord if something could be done with the mold and they told us that we should find another lace to live. Another place with no mold would be nice. We are all struggling everyday. Its super hard for me because I suffer with Sarcoidosis and fibromyalgia. I have wonderful kids and wish I could provide a bigger better home for them. Hello, My name is Leann. Me and my husband have 5 kids, we have four boys and one girl and another child on the way that is due in October. My little girl is two years old, after she was born I had my tubes tied but i ended up pregnant again he is ten months old. But the reason Im sending this comment is because we live in a 3 bedroom mobile home. And im sure you can imagine whats its like with 5 kids and they are all under 6! Our mobile home needs a make over very bad the floors are like waves bein there falling in and we need some more space.My husbands the only one that works im a stay at home mom because we cant afford to pay a daycare.My husband has also had two back surgerys and a hernia surgery so he cant do much any way as far as hard labor and lifting but he goes to work everyday at the sawmill. We would really love for someone to contact us on how we can get our mobile home a makeover! My babies would love there own room. Hi I would like to nomanate my moms and dads mobile home it is in bad shape and she has had to have a number of bladder surgeries. My mom is one of the greatest people I know she never says no to help anyone and will take care of any animal that needs her help. she had to have surgery and a lady asked her to forester kittens that need all of help with meds. and stuff she said ok. another exsample is her friend that has three children needed her to watch them right after she came home from the hospital and she said yes if i can get her some help like wood floors that would me things alot easier for her

Bought new mobile home in 1995. Had add-on put up in 1996, complete with lowered living room and laundry room. At this time add-on is sinking, no concrete supports, separating from mobile home, tilting mobile home backwards, plastic grocery bags help block air around baseboards. Water runs in around ceiling electric light sockets, now have no furnace or air conditioner. Mobile home floors are warping worse than ocean waves and collapsing around commodes and tubs. Husband is 69, uses a cane. Wife is 67, needs to use a walder indoors, but unable because of steps. Please help.

Iguess I would like to nominate my own home well actually my mothers double wide. In 2005 Katrina hit south louisiana and south missippi. My mothers trailer took 8 ft of water.I had it moved from slidell la where it was occupied by a tenat. because my mom had died I was unable to get it transfered into my name with syblings in europe. to make a long story short I was refused by fema and had no help from any one it is gutted. we are trying to restore it but my husband is 70 yrs old and I am ill with lupus. My daughter and her husband along with my grandbaby had to move in with us in the house we rent, there are 5 people sometimes 7 people here at one time in this two bedroom house with one bathroom. I have tried getting help from organizations only to be turned down. So now I am at my witts end. I surely would love to be in my moms home again before christmas. if you need pics I will provide them. thanks for listening

I also would like to apply for my Mom. She really needs work done that she can't afford on her own, and of course she is too proud to ask for help. But anytime one of my friends needed anything she was there. Weather it was for food,shelter,transportation, what ever she could do, she did. She has always had an open door policy. My mobile home is a disaster. The floors are bare plywood that I have camoflouged the best I can with area rugs. The one functioning bathroom is dangerously close to falling into the ground below from the flooding incident when my fiancee fell asleep while filling the bathtub resulting in the subflooring disintegrating. The rest of the house isn't much better seeing as my other half is a proud DIY born and raised in Texas. The second bathroom was saved from fire only because the toilet leaked so badly that it had saturated the flooring. Please help. The Zoloft and the Xanax isn't anymore.
