As my husband was laying in  the chapel we played  "I ll wait for you" there was not a dry eye iin the chapel only a few months agob I lost him unexpectantly this song means the world to me we were together 14 years. wheres all the fans our chapel was overflowing.

    Iwant to thank everyone for your words of support through these troubling times. but you are not gonna believe this as i was taking my husbands things to store. exactly 1 month to the day i got hit by a damn semi you know what guys now im drinking tequila..cathyrene

    I'm sorry to hear about your loss, I know "I'll Wait For You" has significant meaning to my family as well after the loss of my Grandma in 2007. It's definately a song that touches peoples lives, and also a great song in rememberence of one that you love.

    So sorry for your loss. So many of Joe's songs touch people in different ways. I hope that "I'll Wait For You" helps to provide some comfort.

    Yes I do. Me and my departed husband was devout JOE NICHOLS fans and played "ILL wait for you" at his funeral service. The entire church was overflowing with tears he was 42 the love of my life for 14 years he worked hard during the week (construction) and hit the tequilla on the weekends. I would like to think there is music in heaven cause Adam has the CD with him.
