Is Mercury full of it??
I don't know about you -- but I am kind of wondering if when a label rep said "no album this year" they are full of it and are just trying to surprise us - and maybe that's what the announcement on Friday is about!! Or people are speculating that she had a "secret marriage" to Fred!! I don't know but I have a feeling they're getting ready to announce something huge!!! Really, she's had 5 or 6 years to work on this album so it's not surprising if they release it this year, I mean, they can't keep putting it off!!! Ok, so maybe I'm wrong -- but keep optomistic that I am right!! Mercury doesn't have to tell the truth- that's the fun of it to think "are they right or wrong???" 21/2 MORE DAYS PEOPLE!!!! We shall see!!   Ok, so they made a false statement back in January when Shania's new album was scheduled for May!!! Well, 8 months later- and we are patiently waiting in suspense for August 28th, 2009!!!

    I would think that it is either a limited download of a new song or a preview of a couple of songs. The website says it's a "gift" to us. How would a secret marriage be a gift to me unless I am secretly married to Shania?

    Now that would be a cool gift for me.

    Will just wait patiently to hear the news, much better than waiting moocho years with zero news. My guess is secret marriage or soon to be married. Very doubtful imo that it's a new album for release this year. OK, call me a pessimist!
