They had the shift on Tex and the horrible Fox announcers didn't even inform the viewers. When Damon took off from 2nd to 3rd... I was sure he had lost his mind. Very heads up play.

No offense taken. Without Chase this year we'd be toast. Even with him your Yankees nearly pulled it off last night. I was so sure we were going to blow it again, I turned the TV off around 11:00. I think the worst was the night before...2nd and 3rd stolen right out from under our noses. It was humiliating!

hey obx... your Utley is incredible. I wish they would just pitch around him. Seriously... I know it hurts to put a man on base, but it's better than watching that ball fly over the wall... time and time again.

I was happy with the bats and bullpen.... if only they had pitched around Utley they could've won that game and beating Lee would've been sweet. He seems a bit cocky to me... the way he nonchalantly caught that ball in game 1... GREAT team though... it could go either way.

I hear what you're saying cougar. It being Keith's choice is a given. This isn't one of those topics that can be argued to death. You either like the tatoo or you don't...ain't no middle ground.

And cougar...chin up! I'm from Philly so you know which way the wind blows with me but...as much as I want to see the Phillies take another championship, I think the Yankees will take it back. They're so darn good. I'm sure you would have liked to see them clinch it last night, but look at it this way...wouldn't you rather see them win while in NYC? Not that I've totally given up on the Phillies...a girl can dream.

I saw it fairly up close and personal in Cool Springs on Friday, especially through my daughter's photos. I don't care much for tattoos, so I'm a little biased, but I didn't care for it. As many have said, it's his body and, if he's happy with it, that's all that matters. I just don't find tattoos very attractive, especially large, colorful ones.

pet peeve of mine = when someone posts a negative opinion of something and others come back saying it's his choice... as if any of us are saying we should dictate what Keith does. OF COURSE it's his choice. We all know that and we don't think it should be any other way. It's okay if some don't like the tattoo... he'll be okay. Sorry... just had to rant a little on this morning after a Yankee loss.

I have seen pictures of half the tattoo, and the rays and sun are not black--they are blue--there is also a lot of color in the tattoo just like the Phoenix on his arm. Keith said it was a birthday present for his 42nd birthday. Evidently, he is happy with it. He says all of his tattoos are milestones of his life. I don't know whether it has anything to do with his daughter or not, but it must have some kind of special significant meaning for him, and he wanted it there. I think it's kind of pretty. I doubt if he will take off his shirt for any of his concerts so we probably will not get a full view unless he wants to let us see it or some paparazzi sneaks up and takes a picture of it while he is sunbathing or is somewhere on a beach. He only took his shirt off at a concert once that I know of, and that was for the St. Jude benefit in Chicago, many years ago. Since tattoos don't affect his beautiful face, nice physique, or talent in any way, I just don't understand the disappointment or negative reaction I have seen on several boards from his fans. One blogger treated it like he had committed a crime, titling her article with "Keith Urban, What Have You Done?" But people went through the same thing when he put his wife's name on his upper arm--they couldn't read it very well at first, and they guessed all kinds of weird things about what it stood for--seems every time he gets a tattoo or does something different or makes any changes at all without announcing it to his fans, it turns out to be a big hullabaloo all over the internet. It could very well turn out that it does have something to do with his little girl or his happy personal life right now--if it does, that's just one reason to love him more as a person. Those big tattoos can be painful, and I admire his determination to sit through all that needlework.

His choice, his body, but, my oh my, that chest was gorgeous before the tatoo. The tatoo distracts from his swell body.

I think we have to respect the fact that he deceided to do it and for his own reasons. I am certain they didn't tie him down and spend hours on that! It is large and it does apear dark, but I remember when I had mine done, NABRU looked really dark for the first week or so, then it lightens up a bit. It does look like Sun Rays to me and I would love to see the whole thing, but that is doubtful I think. Anyway, my thoughts were when I first saw that...ouch that is large and in that area had to hurt! Then I just moved on to focus on him and his singing!

I have always thought Keith's tatoos were tastefully done eventhough I am not a fan of most tats. This one, though, not so sure. It does seem really big. But I guess it is not my business. Keith did something for himself...good for him!

I love Keith & I suppose that anything he does, as long as it doesn't hurt him or his family, and if his new tatoo is a tribute to his little Sunday Rose, I love him even more.....

Well, his choice...her choice...the devil made him do it; it hardly matters. A few years ago I liked Keith's tatoos. When he covered up the one on his wrist I didn't particularly like the new one (even though I understand why he did it) which is precisely why a person needs to be careful about what they permanently ink into their skin. I'm one of those people who believes less is more. Tatoos are cool to a point. When you start covering up large portions of your body with them, it becomes unattractive. If the inspiration for his new tat is Sunday, that's fine. It's his body. I'm just not diggin' this new one. It appears too big and too black. But again, that's just me. As long as he doesn't go for his face next time!

Well,,,, obviously its there now for good,,,, it sure will have me looking at his chest more to see the whole thing.... I hope it's not all one color, when Keith opened his mouth and started singing in those videos my mind and heart just felt joy, and I forgot all about it!!!! Whatever it symbolizes, it must be important...

No worries...no argument...Actually, I'm sure it was his choice...all for his own reasons...
