Love Song has been out for a month now!!!

Feels Just Like A Love Song, Sara's new single, first debuted on July 20, 2009 and Canadian radio stations have not yet played it... I'm sure she's in the stages of releasing a video for it!! I just hope the album is out for Christmas- it's suposed to be called "My Place In Heaven" and is scheduled to drop in October!! Of course, RCA's pretty good- they don't usually push back album dates!! Sara's and Martina's albums have been out on time every couple years!!

I'm hoping that the album will get released. But you're right MusicMan21, there have been cases where an artist has released a single, it's not done well, and then album never got released. I just pray that doesn't happen to Sara.

yes, Feels Just Like A Love Song was great and it was a shame it fell off the charts, only peaking at #59!! Maybe they should've stuck with the idea of releasing Desperately as the lead single, maybe it would've done better and the album would be released in 2009- but now it looks as though it'll be out in 2010!!! (Word has it January).....

I'm afraid that the failure of the first single might jeopardize the album. I know there have been instances with other artists where the first single did not do well, and the album was postponed, and ended up not being released. I'm afraid if we are still four months away from the new album, and the first single has already peaked, only at #59, then this upcoming album might not be a sure thing.

I know, I can't believe the song didn't do well on the charts. :( And Hunter, they're releasing the album in Jan, apparently, so the single will have only been released six mths in advance - Not a good idea imo, but not quite a year.

I really can't believe that this song barely even charted at all, and dropped off after only charting at #59...yet another female artist released a new single this past Thursday, and it's already in the top 40, after only three days...go figure. Just another reason I barely listen to country radio anymore.

Why do you think the album could be called that, hyacinth02? And why do you think they would release the first single a YEAR in advance before they released the album?

You don't know that-- the album could be called that- it won't be out in October though- probably 2010

As long as they just release it in general, don't care when, I'll be happy! I gave up on release dates a looonnng time ago!

Sara has now stated that her book "Sweet by and By" is coming out in 2010, and the co-author, Rachel Hauck, has said the album will come out then too, since they want it to come out with the book. :(
