OYCLMTW has finally shown up on the Mediabase chart today, down at #48 with 2.054 mill in audience for Keith.  It's likely that he debuted on Billboard on this week's chart, maybe in the #50 to #55 range, though there's no way to know until maybe later in the week.  But this Mediabase appearance does mean I can start this thread, and start my projecting of where the song will move each ensuing week.  I'll start tomorrow with the first prediction, for next week's chart. 

It's been pretty rough in the last month, with no longer having access to the Billboard audiences, and it feels like my similar projecting work on the Strait board is not as top-notch as it used to be.  But we have to make do with whatever data or lack of data that we have... 

And I have mentioned before, when this song was first announced as the next single, that I'm not enamored of the choice, and have reservations about just how high it will get on the chart.  I thought Kiss A Girl was headed for #1, and they gave up on it just as it reached #3.  I feel OYCLMTW will at best reach #5 or so, so maybe they can balance out both songs and will be able to push Only You higher on the chart than what I will be expecting.  We'll see.  But it's always fun to start watching a new single climb the charts!
