The best thing is to get there a day early and ride around so you can find the lots some only charge $5. each time you park. Which if you stay somewhere else your not going to be leaving more than once so you still only pay $10 a day. But if you check you can get a parking permit cheaper than that.

Thanks-I don't think $15 for the day is a lot. We don't want to buy the 4 day pkg next year so we wouldn't have a lanyard so we won't be able to use the shuttle service. We may just go and do some fan club parties and hang out in town and do some of the small free stages. Maybe even head to Memphis for a day nd see the outskirts of Nashville. A little more low key than it was this year, where we did just about everything we could. We have seen so many of the big names locally that it seemed pointless to go to the stadium every night for 4-5 songs by each person and exhibit hall was just insane. The small stages and fan clubs parties were much more fun.

there are a few places you can park at i am told but it will still cost you. do you remember where the kickoff parade starts? there is a parking lot between the police station and another building on the same side as the sommet center but it will cost you more than $15.00 for the entire day. your best bet is to get a parking pass to park at lp field and then ride the shuttle buses around downtown. they have security that watches the vehicles during the day and at night and it will only cost you $31.00 for a car, suv, pickup, etc. those types of vehicles. i have done that many times and it saves a lot. hope that helps.
