"Play On"- What Does Everyone Think?

Now that everyone has had a few days to listen to the album, what do Carrie fans think? What are the favorite songs, and how does the album measure up to her others?

Although I love her vocals on "Carnival Ride" slighty more because I love her power vocals, I think this album will become my favorite soon. I think "Temporary Home" has become my favorite Carrie song of all time- it is just superb in every way. I love "Someday When I Stop Loving You, "Songs Like This," "Play On," Unapologize" "Undo It and "Mama's Song" the most. I'm actually shocked that I love "Look At Me"- I'm not really a fan of much tarditional music, but Carrie does a beautiful job on this song- I think it's even better than her recorded vocal of "I Told You So."

I'm glad that Carrie has shown us a little bit more of her true self on this album with the inclusion of "Mama's Song" and "Temporary Home, I think her personality shines more than ever.I can't wait for all her upcoming TV apperances- the ones she has already given are awesome, and there are more treats to come for sure!

I absolutely love this album, it is way better than the first two. She has really grown as artist, and this cd is her rebirth. My Favorites other than CC are:

1. Change

2. Songs Like This

4. Quitter

Carrie is great as always. My favorite tracks are Someday When I Stop Loving You, Look At Me, Cowboy Casanova, Temporary Home, Songs Like This and What Can I Say.

I really love all three of Carrie's CDs. I always wanted them to make a single and a video out of Some Hearts the song. I loved that song. Hope thye make a video of Play on, the song. But my fave on this album is TH.

I like Play On a little more than Carnival Ride. I couldn't pick a song I liked more than the others.

Play On is, in my opinion, the best carrie album so far!!! The one i can not stop listening to is "what can i say." I dont know what it is about that song, but i freakin love it! I would have to say my least favorite is "look at me" but im sure it will grow on me! I love Play On!!!

I can't stop listening to this CD. Each time I hear it, I am liking some songs more thatn I did the previous time. I did not care for Undo it at first listen but it's growing on me. My fav are in this order: CC, Quitter(love, love this song), Look at me, Temporary home, This time, Someday when I stop loving you, Change. all the songs are great but these are my faves. I hope Quitter is released as a single. I love the instrumentation used

This album is absolutely amazing. Her vocals are beautiful. The incredible range that she has is showcased so well. There isn't a song on this that I do not like. She just keeps getting better and better. Play On has something for everyone. She has proved once again why she is the best in the business right now in so many aspects.

This is her best album yet and I Love All The Songs!! She just keeps getting better and better. You can see that she put her HEART AND SOUL IN IT! I received my copy of PLAY ON Monday and I keep playing it over and over!! I LOVE IT! My husband doesn't really listen to country music unless I am, but today he downloaded Play On to his I-Pod and he listened to it while he mowed our cemetery and guess what- he actually LIKED IT! I knew there was hope for him yet! LOL

This album is my favorite simply because of the diversity on it. Diversity in songs, in the vocals, in how it ranges from contemporary country, to country rock to traditional country. I can't stop listening to it!
My favorites are: Someday When I Stop Loving You, Look at Me, Songs Like This, Undo It, Change, Quitter, and Temporary Home

I am stunned that Carrie"s vocals surpass most singers out there, yet she is
critqued microscopically by the entire nation. Perhaps this is the price of true talent. It still leaves me baffled. What doesnt kill us makes us stronger, most certainly the case for Carrie and she continues to work to perfection. My favorites are Temporary Home Someday When I Stop Loving You
I love her expansion in music-it is awesome

I like this album more than her first 2. This album have more maturities. I loved the spiritual and the love songs. I found in this album Carrie not only sung magnificantly but she also put a lot of feelings into her songs and that make it more superb.
I like all the songs but "Song Like This" is my #1 favour... follow with TH, Someday When I Stop Loving You and Change....and the 2 upbeat songs "CC and Undo It" last.

I have to say I love this album the best out of all of them.there was a few songs I didn't like on CR. Carrie's voice on this album is superb.like I said before she sounds like a angel.
