Heikej: I am now officially caught up with all my tv recordings of GLEE! Those characters are SO TALENTED. I'm caught up on THE GOOD WIFE, oooooh I can't wait until the 'secrets' the children been keeping and teen Zac has been looking into all fall into place.....the 'Glen Childs' character is someone you love to hate.......and WOW, kinda hard to warm up to the HUBBY because of what he did, going to prison as a former head attorney for the STATE, eeeeek AND like one never knows what/where/when the manipulation of his WIFE is or is not happening.....kind of like the complicated plots and law cases that reveal both sides of the coin AND OTHER SPARE CHANGE along with. SHE PLAYS HER CHARACTER REALLY WELL and some of that 'law' stuff reminds me of some of the Law & Order plots.

Well let's all go see it over the weekend and talk about it on monday or see it whenever we can and then talk about it.

BLIND SIDE, looks really good and I believe my sister-in-law is draggin me on friday to see it, well draggin is a bit harsh, I want to see it too. Sandra Bullock is a favorite of mine and also Tim McGraw is the hubby, always like to see him in movies. Always enjoy a movie that is a true story.
Sandra was on the TODAY SHOW this morning promoting the movie, she would be a fun person to meet and hang out with for a while, I think, also she is married to that yummy man Jesse James........

PACK WIN -UGLY but we will take it and be very GRATEFUL!...

MOVIES...I learned how much I do not know about the movies released anymore....went through dozens of 'informations' for us to agree on one to watch....think I saw that DRAG ME listed and too much for my nerves, eeeeek.
Think I need to say up on some movie plots and movies coming out.

One just coming out to watch for that is getting some publicity and looks good for later on....BLIND SIDE.....of course it is a growing up and football movie....Sandra Bullock's face looked so good as the Mom in this movie too. Story supposed to be a growing up story about a player for the Baltimore Ravens, but I haven't checked any of that out yet.

We just watched the ORPHAN the other day, pretty good, my son LOVES scary movies but I must say I really hated that little girl in that movie, she was just evil, point of the movie. Next movie is DRAG ME TO HELL, got really good reviews, so let's see how good it is.

WE had a HAPPY PACKER LAND day today! Whew! You are so right WIN or LOSE we move on to the next game and the next things in our lives for the week.

I think a HOME DAY hunkered down doing the HOME things one loves is LIKE AMAZINGLY GOOD!

Friday night we rented off the TV that movie ORPHAN, somewhat skeery, remember that was Friday the 13th after all, nice cuz the whole family sat down and watched the movie together! VERY NICE EVENING!

Hello to you my friend. I have been busy and not been writing on this thread, bad girl.
All is ok in my neck of the woods. It was a bad day for all PAT'S FAN'S today but we move on.
Weather has been beautiful here, except for Saturday, it rained cat's and dog's here but to me it was a cozy day, cleaned, cooked and watched some movies and relaxed, miss those days since I started working.

Just so busy with work and when I have a day off I run errands all day, clean, cook etc. Anyway, enough of the complaining.....
Very excited tonight to watch the CMA AWARDS, should be fun. I made a couple of dips, something to snack on and of course some BEER, which I will have one and call it the night. I hope I can stay awake, definitly recording it just in case. My sister-in-law is coming over to watch it with me, that should keep me awake, LOL.
I hope you work out a schedule so you can get some computer time, maybe you should take the night shift, what do you think?????

GOT A WHOLE NEW SCHEDULE around the entire household now and trying to figure it all out and establish some kind of routine w/it...so kinda off and on for a week or two...course the 'off and on' ain't nothin' new with ME, LOL!

I have spent about three hours off and on over a week looking for November theme...the only turkey I found I liked out there was a real photograph of a beautiful TOM TURKEY with an 'eat ham' sign around his neck...didn't bookmark, wasn't sure that one didn't have one of them copyrights on it or not. 'eat ham'.....LOL!

Yeah the good old holidays, well I know I am thankful to be working again and that's where MY genuine kindness and caring goes.

The weather in this part of the country is a bit tricky but I thought you have the same just more of a deep freeze, I might be wrong....wouldn't be the first time. Today was very nice, sunny in the 60's and tomorrow supposed to be even warmer, yeah my day off, open the windows and air out the house. Maybe we will have a good winter now since I got new tires, sounds good to me.

Glad you got the tires...they are vitally important especially the kind of weather your part of the country throws out during the winter.

Catch-up day today and my girl and I have a 1/2 day out together on Saturday. The hours and days just FLY, FLY, FLY, wonder if it will quiet down again come winter this year or not????

Got me some new tires for the car, FINALLY. Bad weather is coming and I didn't want to be caught driving around with bad tires but boy are they pricey, so it was good that my hubby someone with a little discount, still cost me 300.00, OUCH. Oh well it's done now and I can feel safer, that's more important.
So I had breakfast with the gals and lunch with hubby, sure not getting much done today. Just put my meatloaf together and peel some potatoes and get dinner on the way.
It's getting colder here and it's raining, so we might have some snow in the morning, here we go with that stuff.

Official word on Halloween, all through the area with that H1N1 prevalent flu that did close down some schools and many families such as mine were stricken, along with a very KOLD day and along with the economy....houses that had candy had very very few trick or treaters....I know I was down at least 2/3rds from last year and the year before...and I'm positive I ran out of candy both previous years and had to shut down a 1/2 hour early. Lots of homes had leftover candy...yep, I been hitting it hard as I can, and there is still some left! :)

Think we had decent temp FRIDAY day and them HIGH WINDS FRIDAY NIGHT brought in RAIN and cleared and cold temps w/intermittent gusts Sat morning. Sunday was little chilly, clear and quiet as a bell, sunshine, some clouds and BLUE BLUE sky....supposed to SNOW today? though!!!!

I hope RANA is ok also and I also miss a whole lot of the former TOBY board members who used to come here so very regularly...they were/are a KOOL group of people and while I was the newcomer, they are all very MISSED by me. Figure if we keep talking, maybe one day some folks will come by and join us! Then again, maybe not???

Gonna start us a new stay in touch for NOVEMBER w/THANKSGIVING coming up though!

Kayefun, I take 7 trucks over the guy's in the neighborhood blowing the leaves 24/7, what is up with that????? We had such winds here on saturday and here is this IDIOT blowing his leaves, he looked like a darn fool out there, like he was in a wind tunnel, MEN, LOL.
Day off today, running around as usual, cleaning, laundry and maybe cooking dinner. Hubby got a meeting/dinner tonight so I don't have to cook.
Still no word from ranax, I truly hope she is ok. So it's just me and you on this thread huh????
Still eating Halloween candy? We don't have much left, so that's good but it's almost time to get BAKING for the HOLIDAYS......stocking up on all my goodies I need, not very cheap this year, then again what is???
