Okay, here it is guys! How Taylor got the nickname 'SWIFTY'!

Taylor Swift dropped in on the Hamish and Andy show on 2Day FM in Sydney on Tuesday morning (March 10).

The 19-year-old Fearless female got a lesson about the Aussie meaning of her name. ‘Swifty’ in Australia means to pull a scam on someone. Hosts Hamish and Andy dared Taylor to pull a swifty on a local McDonald’s employee and she did it!

Taylor called up the McDonald’s and and joked in a Southern accent, “I was just at your drive thru and y’all did not put french fries in my order…do you think that you could do that for me, if I come back around?…I had a chocolate milkshake, it’s what I get all the time when I go to McDonald’s back in Alabama but you did not put my french fries in here…I got my cheeseburger. I got my Diet Coke. I got my chocolate shake but I did not get my french fries.”

lmbo... okay fans..... does anybody know for sure who or where Taylor got the nickname 'Swifty' from?

Taylorfan I know Ryan called her that, but she already had the nickname and Swiftfan is right too she did tell people to call her that on the set of Valentines Day... hehehe... but I still think she got it from a 'SWIFTY' the DJ's had her pull... any other opinions? hehehe

I like the nick name. I didn't know who gave it to her. I know Jimmy didn't. Didn't she tell the people on the set of Valtines Day to call her that since they had her and the other Taylor...lol.

Anyway the nickname is awesome.

I hate to disagree with the wonderiful pcg but ryanseacrest gave her that nickname on his radio show.

Taylor's had that nickname for a while now. Jimmy just happened to use it last night.

I believe she received the nickname 'Swifty' last year from some DJs from another country during an 'on the air' interview where they asked Taylor to pull a 'Swifty' on a fast food merchant re: lack of french fries in her order.. It was hilarious. The nickname stuck. :)
