Good morning George Strait fans,
This day is starting out with rain. Hopfully the sun will shine this afternoon. We have had almost 7 inches of rain since October 17th. Mud, Mud, Mud!!! All the beautiful leaves are now on my lawn. I see raking in my future. lol
Don't forget to set your clocks back a hour.
I'm a little bummed because my hometown baseball team didn't do so well last night. There's always today. I hope all of you had an uneventful, but fun Halloween. I'm already tired of chocolate if that is possible!
Welcome back to the USA George. Hope you had a wonderful vacation in Tanzania. The weather channel says that San Antonio will be having an above average of rain for the next few months. When a drought is over in Texas, it's over in a big way!!! I hope all the rain and flooding hasn't brought any trouble to you or any of your family George.
An upcoming issue of Country Weekly will have George and Reba on the front. The small, small print looked like it would be out around Thanksgiving. I'm also looking forward to the award show. I need to see and hear him sing again. Waiting for the announcement of his upcoming tour and which lucky cities he will be seen in, is driving me nuts!!! Fingers crossed that he will be near enough.
Later this morning, me(driving), my hubby, his Aunt, and his cousin are headed to a basket bingo sponsored by the Lion's Club. In total there will be 18 members of my husband's family playing. Two other's will be helping run the bingo. Believe it or not, they have a TV set up so the men don't miss football. It's going to be a long day!!! I already have a beans and hotdog casserole made to pop into the oven when we get home. Canned biscuits and salad if I remember. Feet up, maybe a glass of white wine, and baseball tonight. That extra hour is already killing me!
Enjoy your day and have a Grait week!!
