Who all PAID for a ticket and went to the show?  Me and a group of friends did.  On one side of the Somet Center there was a group of paying fans.  On the other side there was a group of people who were being given FREE arm bands (not saying they are not also fans).  This is the 3rd year I have been and this is nothing new.  And it is nothing new for some to be let in before the paying fans, but normally it is only enough to line the stage or at least part of the stage.  But this year, when we finally got in, the mosh area was half filled with people who had these arm bands!  I drove 6 hours, through severe storms, paid $100 for a standing room only ticket, put out about $600 for rooms, food, gas, ect, waited in the rain through a tornado warning and severe thunderstorm to be let in....where no one knew where we were supposed to go and then when I finally made it to the floor there were no good close spots because all of the nonpaying fans had been let in at least an hour before the paying fans and had taken all the good spots anywhere close to the stage.  And I know I was not the only upset person because there was a long line of people waiting to get there money back at the ticket office.  Bless the Somet Center for being respectful enough to us to refund us the cost of the ticket.  But that is nothing compaired to the rest of the money I spent and the time off I took from work.  I work hard to get to do the things I do.  I know it is a toss up when you pay for basiclly a general admission ticket as to the type of spot you will get at the time of the show.  But me and my friend arrived at the Somet Center the day of the show at 9am......3rd in line.....we should have had a decent spot.  But between all the free people being let in an hour early and all the others who arrived and pushed their way into the Center ahead of all the other's who had waited all day long we ended up in the back before leaving.  

I know I am only one person and whether or not I buy a ticket to next year's show does not make a bit of difference but come on people....if enough of us voice out opinions maybe someone will listen?
