One of my favorite songs was a gospel song and I can't remember the name but it was something like "Me n Jesus got it all worked out" and it really got me thinking...here stands a man who has lived through a lot and put himself through a lot. It got me to thinking that even tho I am the "black sheep" wherever I go and whatever I do, I could care less what people think of me because me and the Man Upstairs know what's what. I saw George Jones in Effingham, Illinois last night and all I can say is hell yeah! I am 31 years old and have never been as moved as I was last night. George had a touch of laryngitis or something, it seemed, but that didn't stop him from putting on one hell of a performance. I cried when he sang "He Stopped Loving Her Today" and "Who's Gonna Fill Their Shoes"...I think people need to see him one time and remember what country music is.
