Yes, George did have a good overnight gain on MB, and now projects to staying in front of Rascal Flatts and keep his #17 position. Still lagging behind the pace that Owen is setting, and the deficit should grow from 0.08 mill to probably ten times that....

Discouraged is a mild word to use to describe my ticket search today. First, we were not notified by the fan club that the tickets would be on sale. Second, so many ticket had already been bought up by people with American Express; I did not even know this was an option. Third, since 10 a.m. today I have not offered a single good ticket in the lower sections, excluing the floor which we don't want. I have been offered the same two sets of seats since 11:00. Thought Ticketmaster shuffled their offerings. ......

Nostel_1947, thats a good point and a real possibility, but on the other hand maybe it will draw "country fans" instead of fans who think they like country.. And just maybe folks that opted to not spend money and time to see Taylor, Juliann, and the other openers he has had recently will come back to see a nice country triple threat. You win some, you lose some. I'm hoping these three acts have universal appeal....

I think George finally realizes he is a place in his life where he can pretty much do all the things he has always wanted to do. I like this side of George. I look forward to all the new ideas he comes up with. Touring with friends you're comfortable with has to be a lot more fun and calming than just having someone hooking up with tour to be your opening acts....
