that depend's on the artist, radio station's lay out format's weekly, and they come from flagstation's ol say like FM98 ON MUSIC SQUARE IN NASHVILLE.who is owned by clearchannel, and has 450 stations. although there is limited time in the format for fan request, radio station's are face'd with more then playing a song, people have to be paid'd. artist that are not as well play'd are up against the big one's. this is where it get' hard to follow, record label's are a business with a bottom line, record sa......

Joseph, I don't think any of us will really know what goes on for sure. I always thought it was the fan requests and how much airplay a song got that determined whether it went #1 or not,but I do think the labels have some part in it just not sure how much....
